Another CAS card!! - Heat Embossing

Here is another card I created today with my favorite stamp.

I stamped the Sunflower stamp with Versamark water mark inkpad and then heat embossed it with Black Embossing powder. Distressed the whole cardstock then with Mowed lawn, Peeled paint and Mustard seed Distress ink. Added a sentiment and heat embossed it too. And my card is ready.

I just tried a CAS card with Acrylic resist technique with Distressing.

Took a white base card stock. Stamped the flower from My Minds Eye Miss caroline stamp set with Acrylic paint. Then Distressed the whole card with Worn Lipstick and Tumbled Glass Distress Inks.

Placed some Bling in the flower centre. Added a sentiment and I am done.

Christmas card 2013!!!

I have not been crafting much for the last three months except on special occasions and festivals. Christmas has always been so special to me and how can I not create a Christmas card.

I used my new Tim Holtz Ornate On the Edge Die in the card (Never got an opportunity to use it since I bought it three months back).

I have used a Pattern paper which Colette has sent as a gift... Loved the Bright colors of the paper. I just wanted to use all of those Papers she sent. They all were cute.. The Ribbon was also part of her gift.

I wanted a Poinsettia flower but had no stamp or die for it. I used a part of the Tim holtz tattered flower to create this flower. Colored the diecut with water color pencils. Added Glitter balls in the centre and wow I loved the result.

The Oak Leaf is a RAK from Devika of Kukies Basket.

Here is the card:

I had been wanting to learn this Sospeso technique for long now and finally I did it...

This is my first trial with it.

This went as a gift as my friend loved it so much. I gifted it to her as I had no time to make one more that day.
